Lukas Spisak

Professional World Finalist Lukas Spisak is from Kosice, Slovakia. When he was 12 years old, he accompanied his parents to watch a dance competition and from that moment on, he was hooked. He asked his parents to sign him up for dancing and they were very excited to support him. He knew right away that dancing was going to be a major part of his life, and within only two years, he had decided this would be his career.

When he was sixteen, he and his current partner, Eva Tibenska, had tryout. They knew each other from competitions in the area but trained in different clubs. However, their common body-types and goals convinced them they should have a tryout. With common career goals and support from both their families, success was immediate. Within 4 months, they finished 3rd in the Youth National Championships in Slovakia and were Youth National Champions just a short time later.

Their success only continued, as they very soon won the Adult Amateur 10-Dance National Championships and went on to represent Slovakia at the World Championships. Some of their achievements include:

Slovakian Amateur 10-Dance Champion
Slovakian Professional 10-Dance Champion
Slovakian Professional Standard Champion
                                                                          World Professional 10-Dance Finalist
Finalist at the prestigious German Open Championships

Lukas started teaching in 2015, and he has found that what he loves most about teaching is helping his students to improve day by day. He enjoys watching his students grow in their dancing; whatever their goals happen to be, he wants to do whatever he can to help them achieve them!
